A poetic journal chronicling the author’s experience with rehabilitation from drug and alcohol addiction. A profound and touching exploration of himself and the world around him that is carefully crafted in a variety of poem forms.
“The story the poems tell is serious, but never so grim that we shut the book. The glimmering of hope, which grows during the journey through the poems, underlies them all. While never proclaiming a triumph, we are left with the distinct impression that the writer will be able to take the newfound strength to prevail.” -J. McBride
