Batman has faced monsters, assassins, godsand now he must face something far more frightening: fatherhood. Grant Morrison (Batman) delivers a sharp, intimate reimagining of legacy and identity within the Bat-Family, now in DCs popular Compact Comics format.

From the endlessly creative minds of comics legends Grant Morrison (52, All-Star Superman, We3, New X-Men) and Andy Kubert (Adam Strange, 1602, X-Men) comes a startling new chapter in the life of Gothams Dark Knight.

The mysterious Talia, daughter of the archvillain Ras al Ghul and Batmans onetime love, returns with a boy named Damian and claims the child is Batmans son.

Stunned, the Dark Knight takes the child in, but the boy, raised among the brutal dictates of the League of Assassins, has his own agenda. Soon both Tim Drake, Bruce Waynes newly adopted heir, and Alfred, Waynes faithful butler, find themselves targets of this genetically perfect and very angry child.

Is Damian really just a young, misguided boy trying to prove himself to his fatheror have long years of Talias indoctrination left him an operative solely designed to destroy the Batman?

Under the masterly skills of Morrison and Kubert, Batman & Son is one of the most intriguing Batman tales ever told. It also features the artwork of John VanFleet (Batman: The Chalice) in a unique story highlighting the Joker.

Collects Batman #655658 and #663666.
