About How to Go Hiking By Jean Reagan

New hiking boots call for a hiking adventure! Pack your backpack with snacks, water, and a map, and join an uncle and his nephew as they head out for their trip, but this time, the kids lead the way!

This Step Into Reading story embraces the highs and lows of a hike in the woods–from spying lizards, to getting a blister–and of coming home again.

Step 2 readers use basic vocabulary and short sentences to tell simple stories. They are perfect for children who recognize familiar words and can sound out new words with help.
