Learning to cut and snip is fun, but it takes some time for children to master the proper technique, skill, and develop sufficient hand-eye coordination. Children’s hands tire quickly and their attention wanes, so it’s important to encourage them and make the activities fun and playful. This workbook contains tips on how to handle scissors and cut correctly, along with pictures that gradually increase in difficulty for cutting out. Children will first color pictures of vehicles and heavy machinery, and after cutting them out, they can play with them, learn new words, use them as decorations, or as models for play.
